Our approach.

The short version Different lanes, same instinct. We research thoroughly, we organize clearly, and we show up with the kind of care that makes people feel like they’re in good hands.

Casting, storytelling, organization, operations, consulting. It can look like a lot of lanes. It’s one instinct: figure out what’s actually needed, find the right people or the right path, build the structure that keeps it from getting lost, and make the whole thing feel manageable. Whether that’s the right person for a campaign, a system that tracks a thousand releases, or sitting with someone navigating something hard, the approach is the same.

Why real people

Making content has never been easier. Getting people to believe it has never been harder.

We have been inside production and media since 2011, watching advertising move toward real people. Real customers, real bodies, real stories, real representation. We were not observing that shift from the outside. We were producing the documentaries and doing the casting that made it happen, across 1,200+ short-form documentaries and 250+ brand campaigns.

We have sat in the room when someone finally says the true version of their story, and we have watched what that footage does to a campaign. We have also watched what happens when a brand settles for someone who looks right and sounds coached. The difference is not subtle, and it shows up in whether anyone believes it.

We've worked the full 360 at every step of a campaign: corporate in-house, nonprofit, agency, production, and in front of the camera ourselves. From concept to delivery, deep solo work to cross-functional teams across the globe, we plug in fast, get the context, and get it done, with care. We simply don’t know how to do it any other way. We speak the language from the boardroom to the street. We can talk numbers and strategies with corporate clients, hold a room of executives, and still communicate fluently with crew, creatives, and talent. We know how production, client, agency, and talent each think and communicate because we've lived inside every one of those systems, not just adjacent to them.

Now AI is flooding attention spans with synthetic content that looks right but feels wrong, or often, nothing at all. People cannot be moved by polish without the pulse. We see the gaps widening between storytelling that works and AI-generated marketing that cuts the humans out. That’s exactly where we live: keeping business goals in mind, creative vision in scope, and real people in focus. Talent, clients, crew, problem-havers, and problem-solvers. We’ve been in all their shoes so we know how to care for all of them.

Peer-style content still works because people trust people. The opportunity is to push past professional influencers to the people who are already using, loving, making, and talking about the brand. The companies that stand out will be the ones that dig in harder on real people, not further away from them.

In a world full of fake, people want real more than ever. That's where we come in. Real people and real stories are not nice-to-have. They're what actually connects, what compels people to move, to care, to change. Because people respond to what's real. Always have. Always will.

The numbers

4× more likely

Consumers are four times more likely to trust a brand less than more when they notice AI-generated marketing content.

EMARKETER, “Visible AI in marketing is four times more likely to cost,” April 2026
The preference gap

Social media users want human-generated content to be brands' number one priority, while marketers name AI-generated content as a top investment area.

EMARKETER, “Marketers' genAI spend clashes with social media users' preferences,” May 2026
50.8%

Humans distinguish real product reviews from AI-generated ones at 50.8% accuracy, effectively a coin flip. Faking it is easy now. Believing it is not.

15.3% vs 30%

CMOs now allocate 15.3% of marketing budgets to AI, but only 30% report the readiness needed to scale it. Brands are buying AI faster than they can use it well.

Gartner 2026 CMO Spend Survey, May 2026
39% vs 20%

Gen Z is nearly twice as likely as millennials to view AI-generated ads negatively. If your audience skews young, this is your specific risk.

EMARKETER, “AI ads win over millennials, but Gen Z still isn't convinced,” March 2026
47%

of adults 18 to 29 now believe AI does more harm than good, up from 36% in 2025. Across all Americans it's 39%, up from 31%.

What makes Real Broad different.

Real people, not fake polish.

We focus on people who have an actual relationship to the brand, product, community, or story.

Advocates, not ambassadors.

An ambassador is a paid role. An advocate already exists. That distinction is real. We tap existing brand advocates, customers, artists, users, fans, and unexpected voices instead of relying only on professional influencers.

Documentary instincts.

We listen for the real story, not the shiny line. Documentary and production work since 2011 is why people open up.

Human-centered casting.

We know how to find the right people and make the process feel respectful, clear, and comfortable. People being cast are treated like people.

Production experience.

We understand timelines, releases, deliverables, clients, agencies, directors, producers, and the realities of being on set.

Regulated-space experience.

Trusted with sensitive work. We work with sensitive populations and understand the responsibility that comes with it. Corporate NDAs, personal privacy, and the confidentiality rules each project runs on: we handle it all with the care, discretion, and rigor it deserves.

Organization as a service, not a favor.

The systems, trackers, and project management are a real offering that stands on its own.

Boutique and flexible.

Fractional support or the whole process, project-based, retainer, or à la carte. We stay inside the scope we agreed to. No agency overhead, no minimum you have to grow into.

Pro-human, not anti-AI.

We use AI as a tool, never as the creator. We're not against the tool. We're against replacing the human part.

Where we stand on AI.

We're pro-human. We use AI as a tool, for research, organization, and drafting, never as the creator. What it can't do is the job itself: find the right real person, earn their trust, and uncover their story. It is not a replacement for a real human brain and a real human heart, and it cannot do the part of this work that matters most.

The line is simple: AI can help us organize and prepare. It never stands in for the human whose story we were hired to find. As it gets easier to fake people, reviews, and stories, the real version becomes more valuable, not less. So we hold that line. No AI slop, no generated people, no synthetic testimonials, nothing fake ever handed to an audience as real. And we protect what's real: our agreements keep the people we cast in control of their own likeness and story, and bar using our work to train AI or generate synthetic versions of them. That's the gap we work in, and for the brands who've drawn a line against AI in their marketing, we're how they hold it.
