Two broads, two Virgos — on opposite ends of the Virgo spectrum.

Our attention to detail lands in completely different places, which is exactly why it works.

We are the people our friends call when something goes wrong, when they don’t know where to start, when life hands them too many moving parts and not enough roadmap. We make spreadsheets for fun. We research obsessively. We love nothing more than taking something overwhelming and handing someone back a clear path forward. This company is just us, doing that work on purpose.

We are women-led because we know what it means to be overlooked, underestimated, and asked to make something feel real when the process behind it isn’t. We built this company to do it right: with care, with intention, and from the inside out.

Real Broad Casting is not coming at this from the outside, chasing a trend. This is the work we have already been doing for years. Together we bring experience in casting, documentary storytelling, production, nonprofit work, creative development, and project management. That mix matters, because this work is not just about finding people. It is about knowing how to recognize a real story, earn trust, bring it out, protect it, organize it, and help it land.

Jax Burke

Co-Founder · Casting Director · CSA

Jax Burke has worked in production and project management since 2011 and in casting since 2018. A member of CSA, she specializes in finding real people, businesses, actors, and extras for both SAG and non-union projects. She has cast coast to coast and internationally for 250+ brand campaigns, including Apple, Disney, Uber, Under Armour, Gap, and Facebook, and produced 1,200+ short-form documentaries and corporate videos for clients including the Clinton Global Initiative, (RED), Stanford, Microsoft, and Patagonia.

Her credits include casting director on The Edge of the Light, production manager on the Emmy-nominated series Uncharted Adventure for The Weather Channel, and second assistant director on the short film Cherry Pie.

That documentary background is a major part of the company’s DNA. People trust us with their stories, and we take that seriously. Her strongest work is in the weird, specific, needle-in-the-haystack projects, where the right person is not obvious and every detail matters.

She has done karaoke on six continents, and says being a mom is the better adventure.

What we know how to do

  • We know how to find people

  • We know how to talk to people

  • We know how to make people feel comfortable

  • We know how to bring out the story

  • We know how to keep productions organized

  • We know how to build the system when there isn’t one

  • We know how to work with brands, directors, producers, agencies, and real people

  • And we know when something feels real — and when something feels like bullshit

Real

Real people, real customers, real stories, real experiences. And we keep it real: direct, honest, practical, upfront. No BS, no over-promising.

Broad

The range of the work — casting, storytelling, systems, project management, and more. Built to fit a Fortune 500 partner and a first-time independent creator alike.

casting

The core of the work. Finding the right people, voices, faces, stories, and lived experiences is the main focus.

Broad Casting

A nod to broadcasting, with a twist. Not broadcasting a polished message out — casting a wider, more human net to find the people who make the message matter.

Human-centered story finding, backed by real casting experience, documentary instincts, production knowledge, and a deep respect for the people brave enough to share their stories. Plus the organizational spine to keep all of it from falling apart.

Good work, with good people.

Tell us what you are working on. We will figure it out with you.
