Content and belief are not the same thing.
We have been inside production and media since 2011, watching advertising move toward real people. Real customers, real bodies, real stories, real representation. We were not observing that shift from the outside. We were producing the documentaries and doing the casting that made it happen.
We have sat in the room when someone finally says the true version of their story, and we have watched what that footage does to a campaign. We have also watched what happens when a brand settles for someone who looks right and sounds coached. The difference is not subtle, and it shows up in whether anyone believes it.
Now AI is flooding the market with fast, cheap, synthetic content. Brands can generate more content than ever before. But content and belief are not the same thing, and only one of them is scarce.
Peer-style content still works because people trust people. The opportunity is to push past professional influencers to the people who are already using, loving, making, and talking about the brand. The companies that stand out will be the ones that dig in harder on real people, not further away from them.
That is where Real Broad Casting comes in. We find the real people behind the brand love: customers, artists, users, fans, everyday experts, and unexpected voices who actually have something honest to say. Real people are not a nice-to-have. They are the thing that makes a brand feel trustworthy, relatable, and worth caring about.
4× more likely
US consumers are four times more likely to trust a brand less than more when they notice AI-generated marketing content.
EMARKETER, “Visible AI in marketing is four times more likely to cost,” April 2026
The preference gap
Social media users want human-generated content to be brands’ number one priority — while marketers name AI-generated content as a top investment area.

50.8%
Humans distinguish real product reviews from AI-generated ones at 50.8% accuracy — effectively a coin flip. Faking it is easy now. Believing it is not.

15.3% vs 30%
CMOs now allocate 15.3% of marketing budgets to AI — but only 30% report the readiness needed to scale it. Brands are buying AI faster than they can use it well.
Gartner 2026 CMO Spend Survey, May 2026
39% vs 20%
Gen Z is nearly twice as likely as millennials to view AI-generated ads negatively. If your audience skews young, this is your specific risk.

86%
of US marketers partnered with influencers in 2025. Peer content works — the opportunity is pushing past paid enthusiasm to real connection.

Where we stand on AI
We use AI as a partner, not as a creator. It is a good tool and a genuinely useful one — for research, organization, drafting, and speed. It is not a replacement for a real human brain and a real human heart, and it cannot do the part of this work that matters most, which is a person telling you something true.
We do not use it to fabricate anything a client or an audience is meant to receive as real. No generated people, no generated quotes, no synthesized testimonials. The line is simple: AI can help us find, organize, and prepare. It never stands in for the human whose story we were hired to find.
What makes Real Broad different.
Real people, not fake polish
We focus on people who have an actual relationship to the brand, product, community, or story.
Advocates, not ambassadors
An ambassador is a paid role. An advocate already exists. We tap existing brand advocates instead of relying only on professional influencers.
Documentary instincts
We listen for the real story, not the shiny line. Documentary and production work since 2011 is why people open up.
Human-centered casting
We know how to find the right people and make the process feel respectful, clear, and comfortable. People being cast are treated like people.
Production experience
We understand timelines, releases, deliverables, clients, agencies, directors, producers, and the realities of being on set.
Organization as a service, not a favor
Most casting partners hand you people and leave. We hand you people and the structure to use them.
Boutique and flexible
One piece or the whole process, project-based, retainer, or à la carte. No agency overhead, no minimum you have to grow into.
Earlier creative partnership
Real people should not be plugged into a pre-built idea as an afterthought. The right stories can shape the creative, not just serve it.
Pro-human on AI
As AI-generated marketing increases, brands committing to real people build deeper trust. We use AI as a partner, never as the creator.
